Masterson’s Tavern , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my most recent experience at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I found behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I entered , it was clear that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms suffused the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and a sickly smell.
